Welcome to NovaHal Health. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the healthcare services we provide. By accessing our site or scheduling an appointment, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Healthcare Disclaimer
All content provided on this website is for informational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Accessing this site or its materials does not establish a provider–patient relationship unless and until you complete a scheduled consultation with one of our providers.
2. Services & Eligibility
NovaHal Health provides virtual primary care and mental health services to individuals ages 6 and older who reside in California.
You must be at least 18 years old or have consent from a parent or legal guardian to use our services.
3. Payment Policy
NovaHal Health is a cash-pay-only practice.
We do not bill insurance directly, allowing us to deliver personalized, confidential care without restrictions imposed by insurance networks.

Payment is due at the time of service.

A $25 deposit is required at booking to reserve your appointment.

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) payments.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a $75 cancellation fee applies. Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be charged the full session fee.
4. Insurance & Reimbursement
While NovaHal Health does not bill insurance directly, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance provider.

Upon request, we will provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company.

Coverage and reimbursement rates vary by plan. Please contact your insurance provider for details about out-of-network benefits.
5. Privacy & HIPAA Compliance
We are committed to protecting your Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and all applicable federal and state privacy laws.

6. Appointments & Cancellations
To respect your provider’s time and other clients:

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a $75 fee.

No-shows may be charged the full session rate.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may limit your ability to continue services with our practice.
7. Use of Website
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. Any attempt to access restricted areas, misuse information, or disrupt our services is strictly prohibited.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, branding, text, and images on this site are the exclusive property of NovaHal Health and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be reflected on this page with the new effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
